Hackathon?

Get ready for the impactful “AI for Good” Hackathon — a purpose-driven event bringing together innovators, developers, and changemakers to harness the power of Artificial Intelligence for social impact.

This unique experience is designed to inspire participants to build AI solutions that address real-world challenges across sustainability, accessibility, education, health, and humanitarian causes. By combining technology with purpose, teams will collaborate to develop meaningful prototypes that can create measurable, positive change.

Our mission is clear: to empower individuals and organizations to leverage AI responsibly and ethically to solve pressing global issues. Participants will engage in hands-on innovation, cross-functional teamwork, and mentorship sessions with industry experts — transforming ideas into scalable impact-driven solutions.

WHO WE ARE
LOOKING FOR

The applicants must be above 18 years old
PC requirements: Applicants must have Windows 10 or later, or the latest macOS version, with Microsoft Teams installed.
Technical knowledge requirements: Applicants should possess sufficient experience in AI
Language requirements: Applicants must have a strong command of English, as all sessions will be conducted in English

Applicants must be residents of the below countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Malta, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia and Türkiye

Verifying eligibility: Ubitech reserves the right to verify your eligibility. You agree to provide Ubitech with any requested proof of eligibility, and failure or refusal to do so in a timely manner may result in disqualification from the hackathon
Applicants are encouraged to innovate and develop solutions they are passionate about, leveraging Microsoft Azure AI services, Copilots, Agents, etc. while upholding principles of diversity, inclusion, and accessibility

Frequently Asked Questions

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Anyone aged 18 and above, passionate about technology, innovation, and social impact and living in Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Malta, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia and Türkiye
Individual applications can be made. Groups will be formed during the hackathon.
No fee will be charged to participants.
The event will take place online through Microsoft Teams.
You only need to fill out the registration form on the website by March 23rd 2026. A confirmation email will be sent to approved applicants.
The hackathon will be held in English; Microsoft Teams communication platform is supporting live translations during the sessions.
In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UBITECH collects your personal data (filled in the form) solely for the purposes of organizing the hackathon and evaluating submissions. We do not share your data to third parties.
